Target Audience |

A sub-group of the Audience to whom a particular Advertising Message is directed. The Target Audience is defined in terms of Demographic and/or Psychographic characteristics, such as age, sex, education, income, buying habits, etc. |

One of the aims of Advertising and is applicable to: (i) new emerging Products/Product Lines, Services/Service Lines and Brands to be launched; (ii) new emerging Products/Product Lines, Services/Service Lines and Brands recently launched; (iii) mature (established) Products/Product Lines, Services/Service Lines and Brands. Trial is the second key-step of the A-T-R Chain. Trial means trial usage and can be: (i) Trial Purchase or (ii) Free Trial (when applicable). Trial is a test purchase (or free usage, when applicable). |
